My late night art endeavor ends temporarily tonight because I’m finally done with my Sketchbook. For this year, I chose hope as my theme. :)
And I even wrote an entry about it. Heh. :D
I’m not really so fond of working with pencils, and I usually don’t like still life, but ever since ma’am Charo had us do still life, I find that it’s actually fun to do, and I’ve learned to appreciate still life in general. I like how lessons make me appreciate or think about something. I’m such a nerd.
We’ve been having workshops in our Ed Art 245 class, and for the next two weeks, our class will be focusing on still life.
I’m definitely buying more 6Bs and making more still life. :D
Because I’m from overseas, I’m trying to work on what’s left of my Sketchbook Project 2012 artworks so that I can have it shipped by Tuesday via FedEx in time for the Jan. 31, 2012 deadline (FedEx, I love you). I know I have tons of years of catching up when it comes to using watercolors, but I’m glad to learn that I’m over the ridiculous self-pity stage I usually go through after using watercolor (hahaha!). It means that I’m growing up. Or so I’d like to think.
Anyway, I know I haven’t been posting any new stuff here besides random photos, but after I get this out of my to-do list, I’ll be back with new works (from my sketchbook hahaha). Until then, do your art happily and have a blessed Sunday! :)
A little practice drawing before leaving the farm. I realized I needed to practice drawing something similar to this work if I really want to make some comics some day. It’s time to start learning about people and their relationship with the environment.
Last Christmas break, I attempted to make my personalized planner for this year, but found that even if I like making art, it’s easier and more practical to purchase one.
When we’re not feeding the chickens, washing the dishes, or doing laundry, I busied myself with painting at the farm. Last Christmas break had been productive in so many ways. :)
